 What is electric car?

An electric car runs by electricity instead of petrol or diesel. Electric motor is used for movement of the wheel and electric motor is powered by rechargeable battery which can be easily charged by household electricity or charging stations (charging by household electricity may take longer time because household wiring are generally designed for 16A) by plug in charging port.



Why Electric Vehicles (EV) are going popular?

 There are many reasons, why people are moving to Electric Vehicles they need to be:

· They are fast and smooth.

· Researchers has proven  that the emissions from burning of fossil fuels such as petrol or diesel produces harmful greenhouse gases. EV’s doesn’t produce any harmful gas so it is considered as eco-friendly.

· EVs are a smart and convenient choice.

· As there are less moving parts in EVs compared to gasoline engine cars therefore it required less maintenance

·  An electric car is more efficient up to 90 %

We can understand three units in simple way when compared to petrol or diesel engine:

Batteries used in Electric car:

Batteries are one of the most important unit of any electric vehicle, because electrical energy can be only stored in battery.

The type of batteries used in car also depends on car system.

· Lead Acid (SLA)

· Nickel-Metal Hybrid

· Ultracapacitor

Mostly  Lithium-ion (Li-ion) battery used. Li-ion have very high power to weight ratio-power to weight energy ratio is a parameter in watt per Kg weight of battery that is small size battery can produce high amount of energy. This type of car battery having high energy efficiency. It also performs well at high temperature. If we consider about recycling of Li-Ion battery, most part of it can be recycled.

In close future, next-generation automakers can be measured using this completeness of their result and more five dimensions -Electric, independent, wired, Mobility assistance and data and not only on the basis of the physical, Safe and performance features of their vehicles. It's time for the automakers to go to this data sector to imagine the overall process for large data in and in the car for creating the reality of informed event of car, in personal experience and connected cars.

Elon Musk the year started mass production of the electrical car and frequent use of the rocket with vertical landing of its launch scene. He revealed the new way to create tunnels, designs the electrical semi-truck, and designs for the largest rocket ever believed to bring hundreds of people to Mars. Oh, and didn't he start some connect-your-brain-to-the-internet enterprise besides?
